It’s a very special year for CompanyNet in 2016, as we’re celebrating our 20th year in business. Not many companies get that far – let alone companies working in the technology sector!
It’s a story of persistence, determination to succeed, a drive to innovate – and, above all, the belief that software can change organisations for the better.
Past and future
Our story started in August 1996, when the original directors spotted a huge potential to unlock in creating database-driven websites – intranets and extranets. Along the way, we helped launch Scottish devolution, were bought by a multinational, became independent again, and worked with a huge range of businesses, charities and public bodies.
We’ve seen technologies emerge, change and grow, becoming early adopters of world-class technologies like SharePoint and Dynamics CRM. In fact, we were the first European Microsoft Partner to achieve Gold status in both. Throughout our history, we’ve maintained a core business around building enterprise software that doesn’t just solve problems, but actually transforms businesses for the better.
