Foseco is a world leader in the supply of consumable products for use in the foundry and steel making industries and operates 28 production facilities across 17 countries worldwide.

Seeking to  shift their client base towards the notion of e-commerce, Foseco  required a web-based solution which would provide a range of useful  ancillary information including product data sheets, safety data sheets, metal specifications and online versions of the Foundryman's Handbook.

Data is held locally on on the web server, on a SQL database.

It integrates with FOSECO's JDEdwards ERP system to provide data on product lines, invoice and sales histories.

The system also comprises a number of document repositories which store product data and safety sheets.

The NetValue system was first created for the UK, and is now localised for 8 different countries (including Italy, North America and Brazil).
