Microsoft / MSN required a user-friendly mobile PDA application to provide conference delegates with the ability to order refreshments and food wirelessly from the comfort of their own chair.  The application was to be developed on the Microsoft platform and feature Microsoft / MSN branding throughout the interface.

Conceived for the Cannes Film Festival, this system was built by Company Net to provide festival delegates with a user-friendly mobile PDA application.

The system enabled them to view events and festival news, and to order refreshments and food wirelessly from the comfort of their own beach-side deckchair.

The system was built around a core SQL database, with SMS messages sent to restaurant staff to fulfill orders.
