This is the first Kira intranet to be implemented for an oil & gas customer, and the whole team is excited about extending use of the platform into a new market.
Other recent customers who have successfully implemented Kira intranets include leading financial services businesses Tesco Bank, Clydesdale Bank and Standard Life. We also launched a Kira-based intranet last month for leading drinks group – and reigning United Kingdom Spirits Producer of the Year – Whyte and Mackay.
Andy Hamilton, CEO of CompanyNet, said: “Cairn Energy invited us to work with them to implement an intranet built on Kira. It means we can now add oil & gas to the fast-growing list of sectors that trust Kira to deliver a modern, reliable intranet on a SharePoint system.
“The fact enterprises across a multitude of markets are choosing CompanyNet’s Kira platform to power their intranets is testament to the scope, flexibility and strength of the platform we’ve developed.”
Kira extends the SharePoint platform to provide an accelerated way of achieving a fully-featured, enterprise-level corporate intranet.
The core solution – which is a fully-functioning intranet – can be deployed and ready-to-go in as little as a few days. That means we can get the basics up and running quickly, and focus on refining and customising the intranet to meet the unique needs of each customer’s workforce.
Kira builds on CompanyNet’s two decades’ experience in creating intranets, and is available both as an on-premises and now as a Cloud-based solution. You can find out more about Kira on its dedicated microsite.
