The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) is an umbrella body that champions organisations working in the voluntary and community sector. It counts more than 10,000 organisations among its members.
The NCVO wanted to replace their inadequate, antiquated and unsupported database system with a modern one to more effectively manage the organisation’s complex relationships and data.
We deployed a cloud-based solution using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. This integrates directly with NCVO’s other systems, including Outlook, Active Directory for logins and their financial system, Microsoft Dynamics GP.
The system provides tools to find, de-duplicate and edit multiple membership records simultaneously. It also lets NCVO create and edit workflows in-house to automate common tasks. It also includes a marketing suite, including powerful email and survey tools which feed directly into the CRM system. Event management is also handled from within Dynamics CRM, including delegate lists, room booking and equipment management, and integrates with NCVO’s Rendezvous event management system.
On top of this practical functionality, our solution allows staff to create detailed, dynamic reports on any data held in the system.
