CompanyNet has been named Apprentice Employer of the Year 2015 in the medium-sized business category. At an awards ceremony held at the Scottish Parliament, the Secretary for Fair Work, Skills and Training, Roseanna Cunningham MSP, presented a certificate to our Chief Executive, Andy Hamilton.
Andy Hamilton is pictured above with Andy Scott, our first modern apprentice, who nominated the company for the award, was himself a runner-up in the Apprentice of the Year category.
The event was supported by Microsoft Scotland as part of its commitment to helping create 2,016 new modern apprenticeship positions by 2016. You can read more about Andy, our experiences of apprenticeship, and the Microsoft scheme in our blog post.
Thanks to our partners YouTrain, who work with us on our apprenticeship scheme, and who provided the photo from the event below! You can read their take on the evening over on the YouTrain blog.
