Microsoft has named CompanyNet as its latest Gold Partner for Cloud Productivity – just one day after granting us Silver status.
Having awarding the business Silver Cloud Productivity on 22 May, Microsoft upgraded us to Gold the following morning. The award means the business can now boast four Gold and two Silver Partner accreditations from the Redmond software giant.
Microsoft Partner accreditation is based on a combination of qualifications achieved by individual staff members, volume of software deployed, and positive customer testimonials.
Andy Hamilton, CompanyNet’s CEO, says: “Our focus on delivering enterprise-level, high-quality Office 365 services has let us jump via Silver to Gold in very short order. It’s also a credit to the hard work of our staff in keeping their expertise and qualifications at the cutting edge.
“We’re already working with some of our biggest customers, including Tesco Bank and Scottish Water, to create transformative cloud experiences for their staff. This latest accreditation from Microsoft makes us more confident than ever that we’re on precisely the right path.
“We’ve long seen the move to the cloud as an essential consideration for every company. Having moved every aspect of our own business into the cloud, we’re very well-placed to help others make the same transition.
“A move to the cloud is more than just a technology change – it requires a mindset change across the organisation. But the benefits it offers are tremendous, increasing efficiency and collaboration, unlocking tacit knowledge, and helping staff make connections that would previously have been impossible.”
We invest heavily in staff development, including a long-running Modern Apprenticeship programme. Apprentices benefit from achieving Microsoft qualifications, which themselves count towards Microsoft Partner accreditation for the business as a whole.
The company became an SQA-approved training centre earlier this year, meaning apprentices can be trained and assessed in-house.
