What’s more, we achieved the highest level of accreditation on our first attempt, meeting the ‘Advanced’ level of maturity for all but three of the 24 criteria. This places CompanyNet among the UK’s top employers for young people.
The Investors in Young People accreditation is issued by Re:markable (formerly known as Investors in People). It is awarded to forward-thinking companies who put an emphasis on developing talent and providing opportunities for young people. We are fully committed to these endeavours, and recognise that providing opportunities for young people will help close the skills gap the IT sector faces.

The award is judged on criteria such as attraction and recruitment, support and development, and retention. We are particularly proud of our retention rates: we have offered every apprentice to date a role at the end of their apprenticeship, and most have chosen to stay on and play an integral role in our work.
The award reflects the fact that we were already doing most of what was expected to receive the highest possible accreditation. This is testament to the hard work of our staff, who provide support to our apprenticeship programme, work experience placements and high school visits.
We hope this award will act as a beacon, attracting new, ambitious young people to work with us, where we can help them kick-start a long and happy career in the IT sector.
