Ruth Davidson MSP – leader of the Scottish Conservatives – visited our offices on George Street, Edinburgh to speak with our apprentices and staff.
Ms Davidson found out how our apprentices were getting on, and learned how we’re helping close the skills gap in the tech sector through our SQA-accredited training subsidiary The Knowledge Business.
She spoke at length with apprentices Sean Robertson and Adam Fisher, and former apprentice Zain Hassan, who is now a permanent member of staff as our Microsoft Cloud Engineer. The visit was organised together with Skills Development Scotland, the national skills and training agency.
We’ve been running apprenticeships successfully since 2015, and recently took home the ‘Developing the Young Workforce’ award at the Edinbugh Business Awards – as well as achieving Gold Investors in Young People accreditation at the end of 2017.
