Sparrows Group are a leading provider of offshore crane engineering, training, equipment rental and management. They engaged CompanyNet to create an application to streamline and improve their opportunity handling process.
CompanyNet designed and deployed a solution using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online to provide real-time tracking of opportunities in a single, integrated system. We extended Dynamics CRM’s out-of-the-box opportunity management capabilities to create a solution that reflects and enhances Sparrows’ sales process.
The solution was specially configured with seven stages to lead users through the sales process, and features around 200 additional custom fields required by the client. Opportunities that reach the ‘execute proposal’ stage automatically generate a financial summary in Excel which links directly to live data on Dynamics CRM.
Sparrows took advantage of our extensive experience in user training, promoting user buy-in and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the solution. We also took the opportunity to help Sparrows cleanse and migrate their existing data into the new system.
