What is Viva Connections?

Viva Connections is a personalised desktop and mobile experience which is used to integrate an organisation’s intranet into Microsoft Teams. This enables quicker and easier access to conversations, news and relevant resources in one location rather than having to navigate between internet browsers and Microsoft Teams.

The Dashboard

The Dashboard is your employee’s digital toolset, allowing access to tasks and data at any time, from any place. Dynamic cards are used to provide a low-code solution to bring your line-of-business apps into The Dashboard.

The Feed

The Feed is integrated with Yammer, SharePoint News and Stream to deliver scheduled and personalised updates to relevant people based on post-level targeting of employee groups. It supports centralised corporate communication scenarios and democratised news scenarios.


The Microsoft Viva Connections Resources experience enables way-finding between platforms and allows for audience-targeting by employing navigation elements from the SharePoint app bar.
