CompanyNet joins the Core family

CompanyNet is pleased to announce that we have joined the Core Technology Systems group of companies.

Core is a market leading, independent end-to-end IT Managed Services Provider, with 31 years’ experience delivering IT infrastructure support, managed services and digital transformation solutions to its private and public sector SME and mid-market customers.

Its strategic acquisition of CompanyNet strengthens the business’s technical capability and provides geographic expansion into Scotland. This acquisition results in even greater value and additional service and project delivery capabilities for customers of CompanyNet and Core.

Developing capability

Core’s CEO, Conor Callanan, commented: “We are delighted to complete the acquisition of CompanyNet, a highly skilled and customer-centric company whose values align to ours. We are focused on developing capability and excellent levels of service for our customers, and this acquisition means greater capability and additional resources.

“We have developed long-lasting relationships with our customers and partners because they trust in our delivery of service excellence, and this expansion provides opportunity for us to add more value to our existing and new customers.”

Andy Hamilton, CEO of CompanyNet, said: “We are pleased to confirm Core as our partner of choice, demonstrating the experience, values and expertise that ensures our business remains in excellent hands.

“As well as fitting with the broader CompanyNet strategy, we are delighted to have culture and values that align, and we are confident this agreement represents the best interests of CompanyNet employees, customers, and partners, providing great opportunities for both parties.”

The corporate team at MacRoberts LLP advised CompanyNet on the successful acquisition. Bonar Mercer, Senior Associate at MacRoberts, said: “CompanyNet and Core are an excellent fit in terms of their values and capabilities, and this acquisition will make both businesses stronger. We were delighted to advise the shareholders of CompanyNet during the process, and wish both companies all the best in the next stages of their journey together.”
